Commission Pet Portrait FAQ's
What photos should I provide?
Please supply several clear, well-lit photos that show your pet’s face, unique features, and true eye color. I usually create head and shoulder portraits, so close-ups work best. The more reference images you provide, the better I can capture your pet’s personality. I’ll help you select the best photo, and one must be approved before I begin.
How long does it take?
An A4 pastel pet portrait usually takes 1–6 weeks, depending on my schedule and the complexity of your pet’s features.
What style can I expect?
Each portrait is hand-drawn in pastels with fine attention to detail, ensuring a lifelike keepsake that reflects your pet’s spirit. You can browse examples in my Commissioned Works Gallery.
Framing & delivery
Your portrait will be framed in a timber-painted frame (pine colour, white, or black). Delivery is calculated at the time of order, and I can provide examples of the frames upon request.
How do I order?
Commissioning your pet portrait is simple:
Enquire → Send me a clear photo of your pet and your preferred size. We’ll agree on the details, and I’ll provide a quote.
Deposit → A 30% non-refundable deposit confirms your order and secures your spot.
Completion → I’ll send photos and a short video of the finished portrait for your approval. Once the balance is paid, your artwork will be carefully packaged and couriered to you.
Pricing
A4 size pet portraits start from AU$300.
